Group E
In Group E, Bayern traditionally scored heavily, winning 2-1 in Kiev against Dynamo, with Robert Lewandowski scoring a great scissor kick. Barcelona did not score at home and only drew with Benfica.
Before the last round, Bayern are sure of first place, while Barcelona are on the verge of elimination. Although the Catalan club is two points ahead of the Portuguese team, while Xavi’s side will travel to Bayern next week, Benfica will face Dynamo Kiev at home.
Group F
Cristiano Ronaldo can celebrate his progression to the knockout stages. Thanks to his goal, Manchester United won at Villarreal 2: 0, while Atalanta lost the lead and had to tighten the gap to 3: 3 at the end.
The team from Bergamo thus refused to jump to second place in the group and must win at home against Villarreal in the last round if they want to go to the knockout stage. Bern can still think about the Europa League if they win against Manchester City.
Group G
Lille beat Salzburg 1:0 in the “Géchek” and leapfrogged them in the table. A 2-0 win over Wolfsburg put Sevilla in third place, with the Wolves in last place. All teams are ranked one point behind each other, so even last-placed Wolfsburg has a chance to advance.
Group H
Chelsea clearly dominated the Group H showdown, giving Juventus a four-peat to top the group. Zenit equalised at Malmö in the second half to secure third place and the spring Europa League play-offs.
