Football is unpredictable and the situation can change at any moment. Of the coaching aces, Thomas Tuchel is probably the best known, having been hailed to the skies by Chelsea not long ago, only to be sacked a little later. And where will he head next? Speculation abounds, but he himself is said to be quite clear.

Thomas Tuchel is one of the best coaches of his era. He has managed Mainz, Borussia Dortmund, PSG and Chelsea, with his greatest successes at his last two clubs.

With the Parisian outfit, he won Ligue 1 and the French Super Cup twice and the French Cup and French League Cup once. Despite this, he saw himself sacked over the Christmas period.

Chelsea then went on to achieve the success PSG still dream of. He won a historic second Champions League winners’ trophy for the London outfit, and also enjoyed a Club World Cup victory. He even lived to see the award for the best coach on the planet in 2021.

But he didn’t stay with the Blues for long. He managed one full season. A change of ownership followed, and a lot of confidence in the German strategist’s work was announced. Tuchel was to be a major figure in the years to come. But seven games this season were enough to get him sacked.

So he has been out of a job since September 2022 and is preparing for his next stint. There has been talk of interest from Juventus or Tottenham Hotspur. But Tuchel himself has a different idea of his future.

In fact, Florian Plettenberg, a journalist for Sky Germany, revealed that Tuchel has started to learn a new language and that he plans to manage one of the Spanish giants. Specifically, Barcelona or Real Madrid.

He would like to lead Barcelona because of his admiration for Pep Guardiola and the La Masia academy. However, the question is whether he will get the job. The Catalans are currently led by Xavi and his selection seems to be flourishing under him.

Carlo Ancelotti, on the other hand, has come under fire from critics in recent weeks for both results and less than convincing performances. Much has been made of the minor changes to the starting line-up.
