Trae Young tied Robertson’s record. The Pistons have a losing record. Great Doncic again
Atlanta star Trae Young tied the record set by NBA legend Oscar Robertson. The Detroit Pistons are already in the club of the worst teams of all time, and Luka Doncic has another triple-double and an exceptional mark within his grasp.

Trae Young has tied the legendary Robertson
In the Atlanta Hawks vs Memphis Grizzlies (119:125), the home star didn’t reverse the defeat, but Young still had a huge reason to be happy. In the game he scored 30 points and 13 accurate passes for his teammates.
As he managed to score at least 30 points and 10 assists for the seventh game in a row, he tied a long-standing NBA record set by legend Osacar Robertson between December 1964 and January 1965. In the next game, he may even break his record.
The Pistons also have a record
The Detroit Pistons also made NBA history, tying the infamous record for consecutive losing streaks. However, unlike Young, the Pistons certainly didn’t strive for that milestone. This time they lost 115 to 126 on the Brooklyn Nets’ floor.
It was the 26th straight loss. Thus, they joined the club that also consists of Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers. It is very likely that in the next game they will already be the worst of the worst. There is no sign that the misery that the Detroit team is showing will end.
The great Doncic once again notched a triple-double
The Dallas Mavericks defeated the San Antonio Spurs by 25 points (144:119). The home team was led by the traditional Luka Doncic, who contributed to the team’s victory with a triple-double of 39 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
He reached those numbers after only three quarters of play. Since Dallas was in full control of the game, the home team’s star could afford to rest for the last quarter. It is also interesting to note that this is already his 36th triple-double with at least 30 points!
After this game, he is only 11 points away from breaking the 10,000 point mark in the NBA. Since Doncic has only played 357 games and is expected to break that mark in the upcoming game, he will be the fastest active player to break that mark. He will also be the sixth fastest player to break that mark in NBA history.
