The semifinal match of the tournament in Miami between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner took place on Friday night. The Italian tennis player was more successful in the end, winning quite possibly the best exchange of 2023.
Carlos Alcaraz, at the age of 19, confirms that he is already one of the top tennis players. In fact, he is the world number one and also has a Grand Slam title to his credit (US Open 2022).
Jannik SInner is two years older and is currently ranked eleventh in the ATP rankings.
A lot is expected from him in the future as well, he has already played quarterfinals at every Grand Slam tournament. The fans in Miami could definitely look forward to a very interesting match.
The last time the two players met was in Indian Wells, where the Spanish tennis player won after sets 7::6 and 6::3. In Miami, the match was even more evenly matched.

Whoever came, definitely didn’t regret it. The match was full of incredible exchanges, the best one came in the first set at 4::2 and 0::15 on Jannik Sinner’s serve. The exchange had a total of 25 strokes, with the Italian tennis player finishing it with a backhand drop.
However, Sinner was not helped by that either and lost his serve in the end. Carlos Alcaraz won the first set in a tiebreak and everything indicated that he would win the third consecutive match.
But that didn’t happen. Jannik SInner was better in the rest of the match and won the second set 6:4. He continued his great performance and won the third set 6: 2.
The final awaits the Italian tennis player on Sunday evening when he will challenge Daniil Medvedev. The Russian tennis player has won all five of his duels and will be a slight favourite in Miami.
