Tottenham vs. Liverpool: Preview and betting tips
We have a number of big games coming up on Sunday and one of them is undoubtedly Tottenham who welcome Liverpool. It will be a clash of two teams that are not at their best and are also struggling with injuries. However, the worse team is definitely the team of coach Jürgen Klopp, which needs to score at any cost, preferably fully.

Antonio Conte’s charges are far from ideal, having managed to return to winning ways after two defeats to Manchester United and Newcastle and a draw with Sporting in their clash with Bournemouth.
They also snatched a win for themselves in their last game against Marseille. However, in both of the last two occasions we could talk about luck, as they turned the game around and the winning goal was scored by Rodrigo Bentancur and Pierre Emile Højbjerg in injury time.
It’s been a see-saw with Liverpool though, as they managed to beat the likes of Manchester City and an improving West Ham, but then lost to Nottingham Forest and Leeds United. Because of this, they are only in 9th place, already 10 points behind third-placed Tottenham, but with a game to spare.
One of the key factors is that Tottenham are not doing well against top teams this season, having already lost to Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle. The game against Chelsea ended in a draw.
Conte also has to deal with major problems in attack with the injured trio of Richarlison, Dejan Kulusevski and now Son Heung-Min who are definitely making a difference!
However, Klopp is also dealing with problems this season, and although he is still missing a number of players, we can more or less talk about a better situation than it was just a few weeks ago, when practically the entire midfield was out.
As far as the mutual matches are concerned, Spurs have not been able to beat their Sunday opponent even once in the last 10 matches, however, the situation is somewhat different now that Tottenham was in crisis before and now it is Liverpool.
Still, Liverpool are the favourites to win and quite a big one, considering they are playing away. In fact, the odds of 2.14 on an away team are not really seen in similar matches.
That’s also why I’m of the opinion that Tottenham is underestimated, even though they are missing three important attacking players who are not replaceable like the injured players at the Reds.
That’s why I would personally choose to bet on Tottenham with the Asian handicap, as a Spurs +0.25 or +0.75 bet seems to be a bargain in my opinion. Just like a bet on both teams to assert themselves, which has happened in the last 4 duels between them.
