Tottenham have set a figure for which they would be willing to let Kane go in the summer
The end of Harry Kane’s involvement with Tottenham seems to be fast approaching. With his current contract set to expire next year, it’s time for both sides to come to the negotiating table and decide on the 29-year-old striker’s future. Spurs, meanwhile, have set a price at which they are willing to let their cannonballer leave.

Tottenham may be among the wider top of the English league in the last few years, but despite a quality squad, exciting transfers and a renowned coach, they simply cannot win any trophies.
At the very least, Kane would surely have earned a trophy by now. He has been scoring goal after goal for years now, and has proved his quality in every season in all competitions, as well as in the English national team.
The London-born player has already played 421 competitive games for Spurs, with an impressive record of 268 goals and 63 assists. No wonder he has been linked with a move to a club where he would have a better chance of winning something.
According to Football Insider, Tottenham are willing to let Kane leave for at least £100 million. Any lower offers will be gratefully rejected. However, the London outfit will surely try to convince the club’s all-time top scorer to sign a new and improved contract.
Meanwhile, the Spurs management have received a much better offer for Kane in 2021. Manchester City reportedly offered £150 million at the time. Just as Pep Guardiola made a bid for him last year, only the England captain is still a Tottenham player.
Moreover, the question is whether Kane will choose to leave England or insist on staying in the Premier League, of which he could become the top scorer in history. Kane is already 59 goals short of Alan Shearer, the all-time top scorer, and 7 goals short of second-placed Wayne Rooney.
Manchester United
The most likely option is Manchester United, who will be looking for a striker in the summer. Garry Neville presented his interesting opinion on the matter a few days ago, who thinks that the only destination where Kane could go is Manchester United.
“He’s a great professional and I think if Harry Kane could leave and he got an offer from one of the Manchester clubs, he would take that opportunity,” the former outstanding wing-back was quoted as saying in an interview with Sky Sports.
“At the moment, though, it’s more than likely it wouldn’t be City. And that’s because of their spending on Erling Haaland. The likes of Manchester United desperately need a striker. At the moment, it seems like the most likely transfer,” Neville concluded.
The Manchester United legend also expressed the opinion that Kane would not go to Chelsea or Arsenal because of the great rivalry with Spurs. So the Red Devils are a fairly obvious choice.
Newcastle could also be in the game, but it will probably take some time to build a team capable of winning big trophies. The Albion captain doesn’t have time for that.
