Tomáš Souček is in training with his parent club after a long break. After the end of the club season, the new national team captain went to the European Championship. With the Czech Republic he was among the best 8 teams. After a successful season, the next mission begins! Building on the success will be difficult, but not impossible!
West Ham fans have fallen in love with Soucek and Coufal. On the social network Twitter recently there was a massive fan support of the latter because of the “new” contract.
Hammers owners David Sullivan and David Gold only offered Coufal a ridiculous contract upgrade, which outraged the fans. It’s clear that they have the utmost respect for both ex-Slavs.
“After a long time again at training in London. I was really looking forward to it! It’s going to be a great season for us and I will do everything I can to go as far as possible in the Premier League and the cups. But what I’m most looking forward to is the fans in the stadiums. It’s not the same without them,” Soucek told the fans.
Last season, the Premier League was played behind closed doors almost all the time and fans watched football only in front of screens. But the Czech national team will experience the true English atmosphere in the 2021/22 season. The stadiums should be open to maximum capacity.
Only two preliminary matches await the Kladivars before the start of the Premier League. With league newcomer Brentford and then an interesting dress rehearsal with Italian Atalanta.
It is the last friendly that West Ham will play at home and one of the fans gave Soucek an idea of what he can look forward to!
“Tomas, we can’t wait to see you! The atmosphere against Atalanta will be great, then against Leicester (first home game in the Premier League) will be electric. 60,000 people will be chanting your name.”
