Tomáš Souček and Vladimír Coufal’s teammates shine! Will our national team follow their performance?
Their West Ham colleagues literally shone! And not just on the football pitch! Declan Rice was there for England’s win over Croatia, Andriy Yarmolenko scored the best goal of the tournament so far and what did the un-nominated Jesse Lingard do?
Their West Ham colleagues literally shone! And not just on the football pitch! Declan Rice was there for England’s win over Croatia, Andriy Yarmolenko scored the best goal of the tournament so far and what did the un-nominated Jesse Lingard do?
The Hammers’ squad started the tournament very well. The only unlucky one might be Ukrainian Yarmolenko whose exhibition goal was not even enough to get a point against the strong Dutch who won 3: 2.
Check out Yarmolenko’s exhibition goal!
Declan Rice, who together with Tomas Soucek forms one of the best defensive midfield pairings in the Premier League, was instrumental in England’s 1-0 win over Croatia. His performance earned him a 6.62 rating from WhoScored.
And what about Jesse Lingard, who didn’t fit into coach Gareth Southgate’s nomination after all? He found his way to a local pub to cheer on England with other fans.
He even got behind the DJ desk and got the England fans going! Well the Hammers are really shining so far!
Now it’s Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal’s turn! At Hampden Park, they’ll be waiting for the home team, along with the Scottish national team. Let’s hope that they will build on the performance of their West Ham teammates or, at best, even surpass them!
