West Ham supporters have had a big eyeful. The spring was rife with speculation about possible transfers ranging from Adam Hložek and Abdallah Sima to Alex King.
Then there were even rumours that the talented but unused Chelsea striker, Tammy Abraham, could be coming in. There was little doubt that Jesse Lingard would stay at the Londom Stadium.
But suddenly it’s all over and quiet. All transfer rumours have completely died down and Hammers fans are taking it really badly, the inactivity in the market doesn’t sit well with them at all.
The dissatisfaction is compounded by the fact that star Jesse Lingard has started training at Manchester United, where he has been on loan (without an option) at West Ham since the winter.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær on the subject of Lingard said. He is still in my plans. I expect him to start the season at Manchester United.”
Can we expect to see the skilful offensive player take on his former teammates Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal in the upcoming season? It is possible!
