This is too much even for McGregor! The Irish fighter has launched into harsh insults
Conor McGregor absolutely couldn’t take the loss to Dustin Poirier, which was caused mainly by a broken leg. And that it would get better with time? You can’t say that.
Conor McGregor absolutely couldn’t take the loss to Dustin Poirier, which was caused mainly by a broken leg. And that it would get better with time? You can’t say that.
Conor McGregor fought Dustin Poirier for the third time in his career on July 11. It was to be the culmination of an extraordinary trilogy that would definitively decide who was the better fighter.
But the fight was over after the first round. Poirier was the better, more dominant fighter all round, but McGregor’s injury ended the fight, he broke his leg.
But even an injury counts as a loss. McGregor wanted only one thing at that moment. He wanted the loss not to count as a TKO, and he immediately talked about another rematch when he got better. UFC boss Dana White immediately mentioned that as well.
It’s been a couple of weeks since the fight and the Irish fighter’s emotions clearly haven’t left him. In fact, in retrospect, he was reacting to Khabib Nurmagomedov’s post-fight comment on Twitter that good always wins over evil.
And that his reaction was extremely harsh even by his standards. “So the coronavirus is good and your father was evil?” mcGregor replied to Khabib, whose father died from complications related to the coronavirus.
It should be mentioned that McGregor’s reply has already been deleted, but it has seen the light of day and has been seen by many people. Via Twitter, he then insulted Poirier’s wife, “ You c**t, get out of my private messages.“
And it didn’t stop there. He told Poirier himself to polish his belt before he went to get it after his recovery. He also took on all the experts and everyone who commented on the fight.
“Jumping the guillotine doesn’t count as a takedown. Taking a kick does not constitute a takedown. If a doctor stops the fight, it’s not a TKO. Life goes on, bitches. You’re nothing to me, you’re not even plebs, you’re nothing. Go back to your cameras, amateurs,” McGregor told his critics.
So it can’t be said that the Irish star is improving his reputation in any way. Quite the opposite.
