Germany – Jamal Musiala – 21 years old
At twenty-one, he has already kicked more than enough in his career. In 2010, he headed from Germany to Southampton’s academy and then to the London Chelsea squad. Subsequently, German side Bayern Munich showed interest in his services, where he transferred to in 2019.
And at Bayern, he is picking up one team success after another. He has won four championship titles, enjoyed three German Super Cup wins and a Champions League victory in 2020. Across all categories, he has played 193 games for Munich so far in which he has scored fifty-one goals.
Scotland – Tommy Conway – 21 years old
Twenty-one-year-old striker Conway, who has spent almost his entire career so far in Bristol colours, has also earned a nomination for his performances in the England Bristol jersey. He has only been a guest at Yate Town and Bath City.
Last season he scored ten goals in thirty-nine games in the second English league. It is to be expected that the attention of scouts will be on him if he gets on the pitch. His current contract expires next year, so there could be a possible interesting signing in the pipeline for him.
Hungary – Milos Kerkez – 20 years old
The 20-year-old defender Kerkez is also loudly asking for a place in the starting line-up. The native of Vrbas, Serbia, who has been through the youth teams of Rapid Vienna and several Hungarian sides during the tournament, will not be looking for a new commitment. He only headed to Bournemouth in England last summer from Alkmaar in the Netherlands. However, he also boasts a stint in AC Milan’s academy.
In the last season he played in thirty-three games and apart from one assist he also picked up four yellow cards and one red card. He has made sixteen starts for the senior national team so far. Seven of them were in the qualification for the championship.
Switzerland – Ardon Jashari – 21 years old
The Swiss national team put together one of the oldest nominations ever for the tournament. The youngest player called up is a defensive midfielder, at the time in the service of Lucerne, where he has been since 2013.
On the first of July, he will in fact become a player of Belgian Bruges, where he has transferred for a sum approaching the six million Euro mark. In the last season of the Swiss top flight, he led Luzern as captain and scored five goals in thirty-six matches.
