The worst Barcelona jerseys in history? We look like clowns, fans complain

Barcelona has unveiled new club jerseys that have sparked a huge wave of discontent. The jerseys are extremely controversial, so the Catalan management must have anticipated the negative reactions. But probably not that much.

This year, Barcelona chose a jersey that is supposed to resemble the club’s emblem. You will find three different styles in it. And the result is… Make up your own mind.

Barcelona fans, however, have not been shy about giving their opinion. “This is so disgusting, we look like clowns! Why do you want to mock the players like that?” a Barcelona fan fumed. “Whoever suggested this should be doing something else. And whoever approved it should resign immediately,” suggested another Blaugranas fan.

“What the hell is this? This is undoubtedly our worst jersey in history. I can’t imagine anyone spending their money on this,” raged another fan of the Catalan big club.

Thousands of angry comments can be found under every Barcelona post with the new jerseys on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. With these jerseys, the Blaugranas have simply stepped on the wrong foot and, what’s more, given ammunition to jeering rival fans.
