You’d be hard pressed to find a tennis player in the world who is more fun to watch. Nick Kyrgios tries to keep the crowd entertained in every match and he tailors his strokes accordingly. He kicked off his performance at his home Australian Open in style.

Although the Australian tennis player has a lot of detractors and a lot of fans may not like him, he also has a good number of loyal fans. And that’s simply because his matches are never boring.

It’s well known about Kyrgios that he doesn’t have his head set quite right. Tennis isn’t his first priority, when he doesn’t feel like it or isn’t in the mood, he just loses. His lifestyle is also very lame.

However, he is regularly in good form at his home Australian Open. He wants to show off in front of his home crowd and, most importantly, entertain the crowd.

In the first round, he faced Liam Brody, who he beat 6-4, 6-4 and 6-3. But some of his shots were quite unique.

For example, when he showed a “tweener” right off the serve. The underhand shot was successful, as Broady’s return went out of bounds.

The “tweener,” the underhand shot, is one of Kyrgios’ favourite parts of the game. He did something similar moments later. When he got tired of the long exchange, he simply slapped the ball between his legs. It bounced off the net, and Kyrgios responded to Broady’s follow-up to the right baseline with an incredible winner.

“I hope this makes people happy,” Kyrgios commented on his Twitter account.

But Kyrgios’ show didn’t end there. After winning the match, he celebrated advancing to the next round in the style of Cristiano Ronaldo and his traditional celebration called “Siuuu.”

The nearly two-hour battle made Kyrgios thirsty, which he had to quench immediately. Water? Oh, no. The 26-year-old tennis player quenched it with beer.
