The Czech national football team has already played two matches at the Cup of Nations, losing to the home team Australia and beating Jamaica. Now the Spanish team is ahead of Stašková and co., who also have three points. Will Karel Rada’s team take second place?

The Czech national women’s football team is about to finish the Cupof Nations tournament in Australia. They played their opening match against the host country, but came up short and lost 0:4.

In their next match they challenged the Jamaican women and the result was a little better. After an interesting duel, coach Karel Rada’s selection enjoyed the win after a 3: 2 result, with the winning goal coming at the very end.

Now the women’s team, which is significantly weakened compared to the classic meeting and new faces have been given a chance, is facing another strong opponent, namely Spain.

It also has three points, having lost to Australia and beaten Jamaica. The Czechs are not very good against the Spaniards, having won just one point from seven matches.

“As always with Spain, it will be a very difficult match. Although they don’t have the strongest squad here, we know their quality well. Even the players who are nominated will be very dangerous at all positions.

We will do our best to prepare for the match and our goal is of course to get a good result,” said Andrea Staskova in an interview for the official website of the national team before the match.
