The walk is fake! He’s pretending to be something he’s not, says Rakic

Aleksandar Rakic won’t rest. At first he refused to fight Jiri Prochazka alone, but then the Czech beat Dominick Reyes and since then Rakic wants to force a fight with him. But Prochazka doesn’t respond to his outbursts, which bothers the Austrian. What did he say about him this time?

Aleksandar Rakic won’t rest. At first he refused to fight Jiri Prochazka alone, but then the Czech beat Dominick Reyes and since then Rakic wants to force a fight with him. But Prochazka doesn’t respond to his outbursts, which bothers the Austrian. What did he say about him this time?

Jan Blachowicz and Glover Teixeira were going for the title together, but as soon as the news got out that Jiri Prochazka was going to be the replacement for this fight, the Czech got even more worked up.

And not only in a positive way. Negative words were constantly flying at him from Aleksadr Rakic, who Procházka was able to ignore as he tried to force a fight with him.

So Rakic said all sorts of things about Procházka, which he didn’t stop even after the title fight, because he didn’t like the idea of Procházka going for the title.

According to him, the two should go at it together to see who deserves the fight. However, Rakic will go into the fight with the defeated Blachowicz, so he won’t face Prochazka in the near future.

“Jan and Glover were originally supposed to fight in early September. The UFC told me at the time that Jiri was an alternate, so I took it that way. But then the title fight was moved to the end of October, so I immediately asked to fight Prochazka. Management said they’d ask him.

I don’t know if they did or not, but a few days later I saw a message that Jiri was still the replacement. He basically refused to fight me. Of course, that pissed me off. He says he’s a samurai. A real samurai would take any challenge.

Plus, a real samurai doesn’t drink beer, which he does. He’s pretending to be something he’s not. I think he’s fake. The way he goes into the woods and stuff. Okay, if it suits him, let him do whatever he wants. But I’m not amused that he’s playing samurai, but then he doesn’t act like it,” Rakic said on Michael Bispingham’s podcast.
