Slavia have earned a lot of money by the standards of women’s football by qualifying for the group stage. Moreover, it is a great success, which the Slavs would like to improve with a win.

The closest thing to that is now, the women from Sešiv will challenge Austrian St.Pölten at home in Mladá Boleslav and they will be the favourites.

“We will want to play offensively, we have a team tuned for that. We will go into the match with the intention of deciding it, we don’t want to wait. That could be the right recipe.

I expect courage from the players, just like in Rome, where we created a number of chances, but unfortunately we couldn’t finish them more accurately. A quick first goal would have helped us a lot. But if we score it in the 90th minute and it is the winning goal, I won’t be angry,” said coach Karel Piták at the press conference.

The Slavs fell in their opening two matches, 0:1 to AS Rome and 0:2 to Wolfsburg. However, the Austrian team has zero points and a score of 3::8, with whom we can expect a tough fight for the first points in the table.

How is Slavia looking forward to the stadium where they are playing due to the replacement of the turf in Eden and not being allowed to play at Dukla? Alternatively, what is the expected attendance?

“The stadium is of good quality, the conditions are perfectly prepared for us. I don’t think it should be a disadvantage for us. Thehome games in Eden are better, of course, but we’ll deal with it anyway,” said Simona Necidová.

“I think 1500 fans could come. I’m sure they will provide a great atmosphere and drive us to a good result,” Piták finished.
