The slap fight ended in tragedy! Polish wrestler died from the consequences of a punch
Martial arts are increasingly coming to the attention of the general public. This is most notably the case with so-called slapping, which works by having two opponents face each other and alternate open-handed strikes to the head. But one such strike ended in tragedy.

MMA is an increasingly popular sport around the world, but other combat sports are also coming to the fore. One of them is slapping, or SlapFighting or PunchDown.
It works by pitting two opponents against each other, hitting each other in the head with an open hand. They take turns punching each other, and the winner is the one that lasts the longest.
Slapping is very popular in neighbouring Poland. And it was from this country that Artur Walczak, who once fought in MMA, was from. But tragedy struck at PunchDown 5.
Walczak was finished by his opponent and it soon became clear that something was wrong. So he was rushed to the hospital and it was discovered that he had suffered brain damage.
He was put into a coma and after surgery, doctors tried to wake him up, but to no avail. Walczak died on November 26, two months after the fateful fight.
The cause of death was organ failure due to damage to the central nervous system. The question is how this tragedy will affect a rather dangerous sport.
