The sight of Jesus in training must be heartwarming for Arsenal fans. Take a look at his first full game

Gabriel Jesus has been one of the key figures in coach Mikel Arteta’s team and everyone at Arsenal is eagerly awaiting the return of the Brazilian striker. The video of him training fully for the first time is so heart-warming for all Gunners fans.

According to reports, Jesus is ready to fly with the team to Lisbon, where Arsenal will play Sporting in the Europa League on Thursday.

This could be the first game for the Brazilian striker since the knee injury he sustained in November.

The author of five league goals and six assists in 14 games joined his teammates at the London Colney training centre on Wednesday and judging by these shots, he certainly didn’t spare himself.

Arsenal, however, did very well even without their key striker as they managed to maintain their lead over the encroaching Manchester City, who they have a five-point lead over.

The goals are mainly provided by Gabriel Martinelli, who has already collected 11 accurate shots in the Premier League this season, Bukayo Saka 10 and Martin Ødegaard 9.

The latter two Gunners players have also added a combined 16 assists. However, the trio of Kieran Tierney, Leandro Trossard and Eddie Nketiah did not travel with the team.

While Arsenal had a bye in the first round of the play-offs, Sporting took on Denmark’s Midtjylland, who managed to shoot out Denmark 4-0 after a 1-1 draw in Portugal.

In addition, Arsenal’s next opponents in the Premier League are among the “weaker” ones – Fulham, Crystal Palace and Leeds, but on the other hand, except for Fulham, both of the remaining teams are fighting to stay in the top English league.
