The RFA hosted its first tournament on Saturday and is slowly gearing up for the next one. It will take place on May 14 in Bratislava, hosted by a hall with a capacity of over 4500 spectators. What can fans of the new organization look forward to?
On Saturday, the first gala evening under the banner of the new RFA organisation took place. Fans will have to wait a little over two months for the next one. It will be hosted again in the Slovak capital.
RFA owner Boris Marhansky revealed in the studio that the main fight will be between a Slovak fighter and a foreign opponent, but he did not want to be specific. The main preliminary bout will be handled by Sebastián Fapšo and Bernard Plavec.
At the first tournament, Jakub Benek’s fight with Matej Kozubovsky was promoted as a fight for the position of the Czechoslovak number one. But Fapšo disagrees. “I am the Czechoslovak number one, I will prove it in May. I’ll go for the belt,” he said in the studio.
Leo Brichta, whose opponent has not yet been revealed by the organization, will be in action again. Ibragimov, Arcas or Grmanova have not yet announced their opponents either.
Jozef Wittner has already been confirmed to face Kalucz. Miroslav Broz will also have his premiere, and will be challenged by Adam Horvath. Kamil Cibinski will face Jan Fajk, other fights will be provided by Kadas and Bereczki and Mikula and Frizuk.
Marhansky has baited the fans with words about preparing a big show. His organization wants to show off in front of thousands of fans.
