The Czech national football team has had a successful European Championship and now it can take a break. However, Jaroslav Šilhavý will have to coach seven more matches before the end of the year. What is the schedule?

Our national team has never played 17 matches in a calendar year. This year is the first time.

Jaroslav Šilhavý’s team has played ten matches, seven are still to come. Whether it is friendly matches or the culmination of the qualification for the World Cup, which will be held next year.

The national team will meet again at the end of August. On 2 September, the team will welcome Belarus in Ostrava as part of the qualification for the World Cup.

After that, the Czech Republic will play another qualifying match against Belgium in Brussels and the meeting will be concluded with a friendly match against Ukraine, which will be hosted by Pilsen for a change.

In October, the national team will return to Eden, where they will play Wales again in a qualifying match. The next match against Belarus will probably be played in Minsk.

On 16 November, the qualification for the World Cup will culminate at Letná in Prague, where Šilhavy’s charges will face Estonia.

The possible barrage for the World Championship is scheduled for March next year.
