After a two-week break, the Premier League returns to O2 TV screens. The twenty-fourth round of the most prestigious league competition starts on Tuesday with a match of the Czech national team in the West Ham jersey against Watford. What to watch during the week?

Wolves with Arsenal for TOP 6

When Arsenal and Wolverhampton were in the last third of the table in September, probably nobody expected that their mutual encounter would be the showpiece of the 24th round of the Premier League. However, Wolverhampton have come into excellent form in January, winning all three games, with Arsenal even two points better off on aggregate.

But the Gunners did not bring in any reinforcements in the winter, instead Callum Chambers and especially Pierre Emerick Aubameyang left. Mikel Arteta is troubled by a narrow squad, now he has at least two players back from the African Cup of Nations. The games at Molineux Stadium are hurting, Arsenal are not expecting anything easy against the league’s second best defence.

Hopes for the bottom of the table

The inserted round is a chance for points for clubs in the relegation zone. Nineteenth-placed Newcastle will welcome sixteenth-placed Everton at home and, in the event of a win, will close to within one point of them. Seventeenth-placed Norwich will host Crystal Palace. The home side will be looking to build on their run of three straight wins through all competitions.

Watford will play at West Ham’s ground, but the Hammers are not in the best mood at the moment, they are troubled by a thin squad and fatigue of some players. At least a point can be captured at the London Stadium. Clearly the toughest draw is the last Burnley, who welcome Manchester United on Tuesday.

Liverpool’s revenge

Liverpool lost at Leicester a month ago, ending its streak of six wins from the last seven games. Ademola Lookman’s unexpected triumph for the Foxes was decided by Liverpool not scoring a league goal for the first time in six months.

Now, Jurgen Klopp’s charges cannot afford to hesitate, otherwise the chances of the title would definitely drop to zero. The question is whether Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané will be able to return from AFCON by Thursday evening. It would be much harder without them.
