The new edition of one of the most popular sports games is here! Konami is coming out with Pro Evolution Soccer 22, a game that focuses on realism over EA’s FIFA competition.

Pro Evolution Soccer wants to be the number one soccer game on the market and is doing everything it can to do so. This year is no different.

Konami will release a free beta version of the game so players can try out the new matchmaking system. However, everything in that version will certainly not be the same as it will be in the full version.

Already tonight (July 8) the game will be launched and the goal will be to test the performance and stability of the connection. However, Konami warns that the game is not completely finished and players should take this into consideration.

“Please note that all elements of the game are not completely finished. Everything is still subject to change and many elements of the game will be improved,” read a statement from the developer.

You can play the beta on the latest two versions of PlayStation and Xbox. The full version of the game will be coming to PC.

PES is thus once again battling with the increasingly popular FIFA series, but its players are mainly playing the Ultimate Team mode, which has been criticised by many, and active players have been gradually declining since December each year.
