The performance of the national team after the Euro is unsatisfactory. Time for a change of coach?
The performance of the Czech national football team after the Euro is indeed unsatisfactory. Two wins out of five matches have come only against a weak Belarus, which is last in the group. Isn’t it time to think about changing the coach while the team is competitive?

The Czech national football team played excellent football at the Euro, at least according to what we are used to. But after the championship, the performance deteriorated rapidly.
After the win against Belarus came a loss against Belgium, draws against Ukraine and Wales and a win against Belarus. The results are not good, but the performances were perhaps even worse.
Fans widely criticize coach Šilhavy for the nominations, which are often incomprehensible. Players who are not in form or not busy enough at the club often come to the meetings.
The national team is clearly the strongest in the last 10 years. The question is, is it because of the coach Jaroslav Šilhavy?
Almost certainly not. A big part of this state of affairs was helped by the coaching staff of Jindřich Trpišovský, who brought up a large number of players and sent some of them out into the world.
Subsequently, Mr Šilhavý only reaped the fruits at the Euros. As long as we have quality players, wouldn’t it be worth considering calling in another coach who is not so conservative?
Yes, it is not very easy to find such a coach in the Czech lands, but it seems that the team will not move much with coach Šilhavy.
