Javid Basharat, who we may know from the Octagon, was supposed to fight for the UFC on Dana White’s Contender Series show, but there was an ugly situation before the fight. His opponent didn’t weigh in and then called him a terrorist.
Javid Basharat was supposed to fight for the UFC on Dana White’s Contender Series show a few months ago, but the fight ended up falling through due to visa issues.
Now he’s got a replacement in the form of Oron Kahlon, but he didn’t weigh in by 1.3 pounds. The fight will happen after all, albeit at bantamweight.
Moreover, Basharat didn’t shake his hand, precisely because of not weighing in, and Kahlon was so angry that he called him a terrorist in front of everyone.
Logically, Basharat didn’t like that and that’s why he put up a statement on his Instagram in which he didn’t spare Kahlon much. The match is sure to be a heated one.
“This p***a wanted to get out of the fight by being three pounds short. I told him I’d kick his ass again and then he called me a terrorist. He wanted to run away with his reaction. Too bad for him, I’m not going anywhere! I’m waiting to see him tomorrow,” he wrote.
Basharat’s view of Afghanistan bothers him, and he is trying to improve the country’s reputation through his behaviour. Moreover, he wouldn’t be alone on the UFC roster, Nasrat Haqparast is already there.
