The defending champions have made a successful start to the season

The Denver Nuggets started the new NBA season with the LA Lakers and entered the season successfully, winning 119:107 in a thrilling duel.

Buck star Giannis Antetokounmpo welcomed the new teammate with joy, as it has been speculated for quite some time that he would want to leave the team if his ambitions were not fulfilled.

In the first game, Milwaukee fought a very close battle with the Philadelphia 76ers, where it was decided by a single point. After the first two quarters from the Bucks’ point of view (30:23, 33:31) it looked better, however, the opponent started to pull away in the second half.

The 76ers won the third quarter 31:25 and in the last part they won 32:30, but at least they missed the aforementioned point. The Bucks won 118 to 117.

Lillard scored 39 points and added eight rebounds and four assists, while his teammate Antetokounmpo recorded a double-double with 23 points, 13 rebounds and three assists. Philadelphia star Joel Embiid had 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists.

The No. 1 pick in the draft showed good form, but was overshadowed by Doncic

Victor Wembanyama entered his first year in the NBA well. He didn’t become the star of the game, but he played a good game, scoring 15 points, five rebounds and two assists.

However, his San Antonio Spurs lost to Dallas 119-126 and Luka Doncic shined for the Mavericks. The Spurs built a 43:36 lead in the first quarter, but trailed in the later stages of the game.

The star Serbian recorded a triple double of 33 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, eclipsing Wembanyama in his debut. Devin Vassell was Spurs’ top scorer with 23 points, five rebounds and three assists.
