The new season of Formula 1 is fast approaching and as usual, the famous Drive to Survive series is coming out on Netflix before the new season. The specific date is set for Friday 24 February, so what can you look forward to in the fifth series?
This is the fifth installment of the very well-known Netflix documentary series, which always focuses on a specific season.
Netflix started this series in 2018, and already then the American company reaped many positive reactions for its venture. It must be added, although the last two seasons created a kind of artificial atmosphere and tension between the drivers, Formula 1 also won a lot of new fans thanks to this series.
This was confirmed earlier by Liberty Media, the company that owns F1. However, several drivers, and Max Verstappen in particular, are not too keen on Netflix’s production of Drive to Survive.
On the other hand, the fact remains that Netflix does manage to offer viewers and F1 fans a closer look behind the scenes of the sport.
The new series is almost upon us, and as it seems even from the trailer, even though Verstappen himself initially said he would boycott the Netflix filming, fans will eventually see him in Drive to Survive.
And what will the fifth season actually be about? We’ll take a closer look at Ferrari’s woes last season, with Netflix also getting very close to the McLaren situation.
In addition, the streaming company’s cameras will also head to Alpine or Haas, where fans will once again witness Guenther Steiner’s emotional outbursts or Mick Schumacher’s problems.
Finally, it should be added that Netflix has previously revealed the titles of the episodes. So what will they be called?
- The New Dawn
- Bounce back
- Like Father, Like Son
- Matter of principal
- Hot seat
- Pardon my french
- Nice Guys finish last
- Alpha Male
- Over the limit
- End of the road
