The Netherlands dominated the dramatic end of the second match of Group C and entered the tournament victorious

In the 75th minute, Ukraine also managed to get on the board and reduced the score to 2:1. Yarmolenko scored a beautiful shot from outside the box to make it the best goal of the European Championship so far.
In the 79th minute, Stekelenburg scored for the second time. Zinchenko was fouled dangerously close to the penalty spot and the Ukrainians took advantage. Malinovski sent the ball in from a standard behind the Dutch defence and Yaremchuk headed over.
The goal scoring continued in the 85th minute when the Dutch took the lead back. Substitute Nathan Aké centred and Dumfries headed just wide of the post.
Nothing serious happened in the final minutes and the Dutch deservedly won by a narrow 3:2 margin.
