The autumn part of the Superleague of small football is not over yet, but it is already clear that the national team makers have their heads pleasantly screwed up before the upcoming national team meeting.
With their performances in the national competition, more and more new names are asking for the Czech jersey. The national camp will be hosted by the Podještěd Sports Complex in Český Dub from 8 to 12 December.
It will be the first meeting of the Czech national team since the European championship in Košice in June, where coach Stanislav Bejda’s charges lost in the quarterfinals to Romania.
The upcoming camp will feature two Czech national teams, who will also face the national teams of England and Ukraine in a two-day competition. The final match will take place on Saturday 10 December at 3.30 pm.
Luděk Zelenka, the general manager of the Czech team, has already announced in advance that some proven stalwarts as well as many footballers who have either not worn the Czech jersey yet or have not appeared in the national team for a long time will gather in Cesky Dub.
“We are expecting an international confrontation and we want to call a lot of new players to the meeting. More or less we can only draw from the Super League and I am happy that new guys are appearing in the teams. The second thing is how they will be able to sell the potential on the national team’s soil,” manager Zelenka reflected.
The final nomination will be announced by the national team makers at the beginning of December.
