The national team landed in Belgium without the injured Jankt. Who will replace him in the line-up?

Jakub Jankto has been one of the key members of Šilhavy’s team in the World Championship qualification so far. However, he will not help the national team in the crucial duel with Belgium, as the new Getafe acquisition suffered an injury that forced him to leave the national team.

So who should replace him on the wing? Even with Jankto’s departure, we can expect Adam Hložek to stay on the wing, so Jakub Pešek and Jaromír Zmrhal are possible alternatives on the right side.

Jakub Pešek has more experience on the right side in recent years, and his form makes him a clear contender for the starting line-up. But Zmrhal has also scored four goals, two in the Slovak Fortuna League and two in the Europa League qualifiers.

If the choice fell on a Slovan Bratislava player, Zmrhal would probably switch sides with Hložek and start from the left. However, the Spartan gem would lose the luxury of centres to the back post from Vladimir Coufal, of which he is definitely a better recipient than Zmrhal.
