Excellent reinforcements and even better performances. Viktoria Plzeň have made a fantastic start to the 2022/23 season and are the last step away from the Champions League group stage.

They are only a home rematch with Karabakh away from this prestigious milestone. They drew 0-0 away and everything is wide open, although the Czech champion is the favourite.

“Tomorrow we can fight our way into the Champions League. I have never experienced it, like most of the players here. It’s a huge challenge. We know we are strong at home and we will have the massive support of the fans again,” said coach Michal Bílek at the press conference.

It is the fans that are the triumph of Viktoria, as the match will be a sell-out without any minor problems, leading the West Czechs to victory with 11,000 supporters.

“Every team plays better at home when they feel the support of the fans. Every player wants to play in front of a sold-out stadium. We are a short distance away from the Champions League, the motivation is huge. We have beendoing well at home for a long time and I believe we will keep this record tomorrow,” he added.

The game is being played tomorrow from 9pm and you will be able to watch it on Premier Sport 2. If Victoria fail to qualify, they will at least play in the Europa League.
