The popular tournament in Monte Carlo has already started with qualifying matches. The first round is scheduled for Sunday. Which players are among the candidates for the overall victory? Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal… and who else?

Novak Djokovic is the first player in the ATP rankings, so logically he is the biggest candidate to win the triumph. In Monte Carlo, he has won the overall victory twice, finishing second on the other two occasions.

Stefanos Tsitsipas, the Greek winner of the 2019 Tournament of Champions, is also one of the best that this year’s tournament in the Principality of Monaco has to offer.

The 22-year-old right-handed tennis player is currently ranked fifth. Of course, Rafael Nadal is also a great aspirant for another valuable trophy.

The Spaniard, who has won this tournament eleven times. Impressive! Even at his advanced age (34), he is still at the very top, currently in third place.

Of course, we must not forget the progressive Daniil Medvedev. The Russian tennis player is in second place, between the pair Djokovic – Nadal.

Last year he even beat Djokovic here, so he is a force to be reckoned with.

Who do you think is the biggest candidate for the overall victory?
