The French team will not be idle in the transfer market. A few days ago the Parisians arranged the arrival of Wijnaldum from Liverpool and now they are working on another star transfer. We are talking about Donnarumma from AC Milan.
According to the reliable Fabrizio Romano, the deal is in the world and all that remains is to fine-tune the last details. The Italian should become PSG’s new signing before the start of the Euros.
As with Wijnaldum, the situation is similar. Donnarumma has developed into an excellent goalkeeper in Milan. However, after the current season his contract was up and he decided to change his place of work.
The promising goalkeeper had 3 big suitors. Barcelona, Juventus and PSG. However, the first two mentioned only watched the player and did not make any official offer.
This was Paris Saint Germain’s chance. The Italian received such an offer from them that he couldn’t refuse and the decision was made.
The terms of the contract will be really luxurious for the Italian. He will earn up to 12 million euros a year at his new place and will sign a long-term contract until 2026. The deal should be concluded before the start of the Euros.
The player will undergo a medical examination in the Italian national team camp. He will play for the number one position with the more experienced Keylor Navas. Pochettino can be expected to prefer Donnarumma.
Another successful transfer for PSG. Clearly they are arming up for next year’s Champions League in a big way.
