The master of important matches Holeš is a hero again! He sent the Dutch home with a goal and an assist. Schick scored for the fourth time

The Czech national team sensationally defeated the Netherlands 2: 0 and advanced to the quarter-finals. Tomáš Holeš was the hero, so to speak, as he has traditionally been, scoring a goal in the derby between Slavia and Sparta this year, he also scored against Plzeň and Arsenal.

Tomáš Holeš had the first chance in the second minute, but missed the goal. The Dutch made problems for the Czech defensive, but luckily it didn’t work for the Tulips.

In the 28th minute Patrik Schick had a shot, but only hit the centre of the net. Three minutes later, Donyel Malen tried on the other side, but his shot was blocked by Ondřej Čelůstka.

In the 38th minute, Antonín Barák had a great chance, but his left-footed shot went over. Patrick van Aanholt took another shot in the setup, but missed and the game was scoreless.

Malen opened the second half with a chance, but Tomas Vaclik grabbed the ball from him at the last moment. On the other side, Mathijs de Ligt played his hand in a scoring chance and the referee showed him a red card after watching the replay.

Pavel Kadeřábek could have used a power play in the 64th minute, but Denzel Dumfries blocked his shot. Five minutes later, the goal fell. After a corner kick, the ball went to Tomáš Holeš, whose header split the net.

In the 77th minute, Lukáš Masopust took another shot from outside the box, but Maarten Sketelenburg made the save. Four minutes later, however, he was fishing the ball out of the net again. Holeš found Schick and he hit the bottom left corner of the net.

After that, the Czech team took care of the match and won 2:0. The Czech team will now advance to the quarter-finals, where they will play Denmark.
