The magic of João Cancela! Watch how the Portuguese made a mockery of his opponent

Since time immemorial, Brazilians have been considered the greatest ball wizards. The Portuguese, however, are not much different in ball equilibristics and are often referred to as “European Brazilians”. And now João Cancelo has done just that.

João Cancelo started his third season at Manchester City in the summer, the 27-year-old all-rounder has seen a huge performance progression over the past season. He scored two goals, assisted 3, served Pep Guardiola as a right and left-back, and can play in midfield without any problem.

His place in the starting line-up is also assured in the Portuguese national team, where he did a really great job.

In the qualifying match against Azerbaijan, the Portuguese won 3-0, but Cancelo caused the biggest stir. One of the biggest embarrassments for footballers is to get the so-called violin, the Portuguese back made two opposing players happy in a row.

The footage instantly went viral on the internet, with fans citing Cancelo’s action as the best nutmeg (violin) of the season.
