In the summer, our twenty-one will take part in the European Championships, shortly after which they will be fighting to play in the next one. The U21 European Championship 2025 will take place in Slovakia!

“The fact that the next European Women’s EURO will be held in Slovakia is a motivation for us. Our U21 team won silver there a few years ago and had great support in the stands.

It’s definitely interesting for us and the fans and we all wish we could play in that championship. And I believe that we will be able to qualify for it,” coach Jan Suchopárek told the national team website.

On Thursday, the qualifying groups will be drawn at 9 a.m. There will be a total of nine groups, seven of which will be six-member.

The winners of the groups and the three best second-placed teams will advance to the final tournament. The other six teams will then face an unpredictable barrage.

The Czechs are in the second performance basket and cannot face Croatia, Belgium, Poland or Switzerland. Slovakia is missing from the qualification, which is guaranteed to participate.
