The football season is over and we have met the champions of the top European leagues. Now it’s the turn of the summer transfer period, during which teams can try to strengthen their squad. Rumours and speculations about player transfers are therefore constantly increasing. Let’s take a look together at who has been the most talked about in recent hours and what transfers we can possibly look forward to.

City don’t want to play the long game for Kane

Manchester City are one of the biggest suitors for Harry Kane, who wants to end his time in north London in pursuit of major trophies. The Citizens are offering up to £100m for his services.

However, Harry Kane’s hopes of a dream transfer may be dashed as Manchester City are unwilling to play Tottenham’s lengthy game for the England captain’s future.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is prepared to continue to block any transfer of the striker, thus thwarting his hopes of sealing a move to a club capable of regularly challenging for trophies.

The question remains whether Levy is merely looking to increase the price tag for his biggest star with this behaviour, or if he wants to strengthen his direct competitor.

Atalanta have set a price for Gosens

Atalanta are willing to listen to offers for left-back Robin Gosens, according to German media. The German international has had a successful season. He has played a total of 44 games for the club with a record of 12 goals and 8 assists. The Italian club has set his value at 40 million euros.

Trincao is for sale

FC Barcelona are trying to sell winger Trincao. The Catalans have a glut in the offensive after the acquisition of Sergio Agüero and Memphis Depay. They have decided to resolve this situation by selling the young Portuguese, for whom they are demanding a sum of round 30 million euros.

AC Milan is close to gaining a new signing

Italian club AC Milan are close to signing winger Amine Adli from French side Toulouse. The Rossoneri are offering €5 million for the 21-year-old Frenchman.

Adli has emerged as one of the most promising young players in Europe after scoring 8 goals and 8 assists in 36 games last season.

PSG have contacted Real about Varane

Paris Saint-Germain representatives have made contact with Real Madrid over the possible transfer of defender Raphael Varane to the French capital.

the 28-year-old defender is out of contract with Los Blancos next summer and has so far rejected two offers to extend it. The player himself has expressed that he would like to try new challenges and is therefore expected to leave the Santiago Bernabéu.

If Real do not want to lose him next year without financial compensation, they will have to think about selling him. The value of the player is then estimated at €70 million.

Bayern interested in Dumfries

PSV Eindhoven right-back Denzel Dumfries has put himself on the radar of interest from German side Bayern Munich. The Dutch international has been putting in excellent performances at EURO 2020, which has not escaped the attention of European big clubs including Die Roten.

Sensi refuses to move to Fiorentina

Inter Milan midfielder Stefano Sensi has rejected a move to Fiorentina. The 25-year-old is expected to be included in the deal that would lead to the transfer of Polish goalkeeper Bartlomiej Dragowski to the San Siro.

Sensi rejects this exchange. He wants to stay at Inter and fight for a place in the team, with his current contract not expiring until 2024.

Will Santo sit on the Spurs bench?

Tottenham have turned their attention to Nuno Espirito Santo in their search for a new manager. New Spurs sporting director Fabio Paratici is keen for the former Wolves boss to replace Jose Mourinho.

United are planning a bid for Villarreal

Manchester United are planning to make a formal bid for Villarreal defender Pau Torres in the coming weeks. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees the 24-year-old as the ideal man to partner Harry Maguire in the centre of the Red Devils’ defence next season.

Villarreal will demand around £43 million for their young star. However, Real Madrid are also hugely interested in the player as they are looking for a replacement for Sergio Ramos.
