MMA can be beautiful, but it can also be scary. Newly 21 years old Dylan Reischman knows that, and he will probably never forget his professional debut. He was horribly injured and it is questionable whether he will ever be able to continue his career.

Dylan Reischman got his first professional MMA fight on Saturday. He’s only had four amateur fights so far, scoring three wins and one loss.

He made his debut in the American organization Combate Global, where former interim Octagon champion Gustavo Lopez fought prior to his time in the UFC. So Reischman had a decent run at 21.

His opponent was six years older Jaime Mora, who was entering his second professional fight. He was able to rejoice in his first win, but he was far from happy after the second one he scored against Reischman.

The reason? A horrific injury to the 21-year-old. Mora tried to take his opponent down. Basically, it was a routine takedown attempt, which we normally see several of in tournaments. This one, however, turned out horribly.

Reischman injured his leg badly trying to stop the takedown and the fight had to be stopped immediately. The video made the rounds on social media, with fans and media alike talking about one of the worst injuries they’ve ever seen in MMA.

The footage below is really only for the strong minded. Due to the horror injury, the 21-year-old talent will definitely never forget his debut.

Reischman, by the way, has a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, but he’s now facing a very long layoff and it’s questionable if he’ll ever be able to resume his career in combat sports. There is no mention of his health condition anywhere for now.
