The golden boy Isco is still without a club. He’s training at home and waiting for his phone to ring

This Spanish whizz-kid was one of the most sought-after footballers in the world a decade ago. He is currently without a contract after agreeing to a winter exit at Sevilla.
In 2012, as a player for Spanish side Malaga, he was voted the best young player in the world when he won the prestigious Golden Boy award. He was followed in the standings by Stephan El Shaarawy and Thibaut Courtois.
In 2013, he signed for Real Madrid for nearly €40 million, where he spent a significant part of his career. He worked there for nine years, during which he won the Champions League five times, among other things.
At the beginning of the current season, he signed as a free agent with Sevilla, where he was supposed to stay until 2024. However, both parties agreed to terminate his contract at the beginning of 2023.
At the end of the January transfer window, his move to German club Union Berlin was imminent. However, that was not to be. The reason was the player’s huge financial demands.
The management of the German club themselves stated that they would like to see Isco in their jersey, but they have their limits. These were exceeded compared to the previous agreement and therefore the Spanish midfielder is still a free agent.
He is currently training at home with his personal trainer and is waiting for a concrete offer to come in.
