After all, if Mbappé does not leave now in the winter, his contract will expire at the end of June this year and PSG will get nothing for him. And that is not a very appealing prospect for the French giant.

However, the renowned site The Athletic has recently come up with a rather crucial piece of news. Reportedly, to end this transfer saga once and for all, Real Madrid have decided to give Mbappe an ultimatum.

It spoke that if the French star had not made a decision on his future by mid-January, Real would definitely look for someone else. However, this has now been denied by French daily L’Équipe, who say in their article that Real have not given Mbappe any ultimatum.

Mbappé hasn’t decided yet, there is no ultimatum

“There is no agreement linked to Kylian’s future, there are no discussions on the table on the subject. In any case, no one can dictate the timing of Kylian’s actions, thoughts or his decisions,” a person close to the player himself told French television station RMC Sport.

Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano then also recently quoted Mbappé’s words via the X platform that he had not yet decided on his future.

In conclusion, if Mbappé did decide to join Real Madrid, he would have to significantly discount his demands. The LA Liga giant has offered him €25 million a year in recent months, which is roughly a third of what he is taking in Paris.
