As it does every year, the prestigious Forbes magazine publishes its 30 Under 30 list, which features young talented people who shine in their fields. This time, four promising athletes made it to the Czech ranking.
“They are young, capable and successful. And you should know them. We present the tenth edition of our selection of extraordinary Czech talents from the world of business, startups, science, sports and art who can inspire you no matter how old you are,” Forbes said in its ranking.
In it, we can find many talented people from all kinds of fields, whether it is actor and singer Adam Misik, director and entrepreneur Jan Strach or oncologist Martin Palička.
But we can also find the talented athletes who have impressed Forbes the most in the past year. Specifically, there are four, with tennis nurses not missing.
Seventeen-year-old Linda Fruhvirt is currently the 52nd best female tennis player in the world according to the WTA rankings, having won her first title in this field last year. She also shone at the Australian Open in January.
Her 15-year-old sister Brenda Fruhvirt has also had an excellent year, as one of the youngest tennis players to break into the main competition of the Australian Open, even making her way to a beautiful 133rd place in the WTA rankings.
There is also another teenage athlete in the Forbes rankings, namely David Jiricek. The 19-year-old hockey player was the sixth pick in the NHL draft, where he has already made his debut, he has a bronze with the national team from the World Championship and even a silver with the junior team.
The last athlete is Anna Kellner, a twenty-six-year-old parkour rider who is fighting for the Longines Global Champions League title with her mare Catch Me If You Can.
