Stipe Miocic is now 39 years old, he last appeared in the cage in March 2021, he will forever be remembered in combat sports history as one of the best heavyweights in MMA history.

However, he was robbed of the title last year by Francis Ngannou and Miocic’s future is uncertain.

There has been a lot of talk in recent months that Miocic could face the legendary Jon Jones, who is preparing for his first heavyweight fight.

It is unclear whether Miocic will ever fight again, although he has not officially announced his end. A few months ago, he even denied any speculation about his end in the UFC.

Now the former champion has made a big step in his life outside of combat sports. Since 2010, he has been helping out the fire department in the American city of Westlake on a part-time basis. Now he has fulfilled his dream and become a full-time firefighter.

Miocic had to undergo several tests, but finally got to be inaugurated and sworn in on March 15.

Miocic has been in professional MMA since 2010. In that time, he has compiled a perfect 20-4 record. He has four successful title defenses in the UFC.
