The first footage from PSG’s training centre has recently surfaced, showing Kylian Mbappé and new star Lionel Messi assisting each other. This makes fans even more eager and excited for their first game together.
After one of the most shocking transfers in football history, Argentine Lionel Messi has already integrated into the PSG squad and started training with the team. His league debut is scheduled for 29 August in a match against Stade Reims.
After a short preview video of the training session, fans are starting to paint in their heads how the Messi – Mbappé – Neymar collaboration will work out perfectly.
What is unclear, however, is how coach Mauricio Pochettino will assemble all his star players into the starting eleven. Besides Neymar, Mbappé and Messi, there are still Mauro Icardi and Ángel Di María, for example.
Whatever way coach Pochettino puts together his ideal line-up, it is already clear that this will be one of the best attacks ever. So French fans firmly believe that the stars will match each other on the pitch.
“The goal is to make a top team out of all these top players. We have to find a way to make it all fit together. I want the team to be dynamic and for everyone to feel at home in their position,” said coach Pochettino at a press conference on the situation.
“If we don’t work together enough and everyone works hard, it will be almost impossible to achieve these goals. I feel full of enthusiasm and positive energy from Messi’s arrival. I’m sure it will take us further,” the Argentine coach added.
The signing of the former FC Barcelona magician completes PSG’s impressive summer transfer window. In addition to the Argentine forward, Georginio Wijnaldum, Achraf Hakimi, Gianluigi Donnarumma and defender Sergio Ramos have also arrived at the Parc des Princes.
So it is more than obvious that PSG are really serious about their assault on the European Cup.
Thus, a lot of football fans around the world believe that if PSG doesn’t win the Champions League this year, they never will.
