The fight for the Serie A title gets dramatic again! Inter has improved

The battle for the Scudetto in the Italian league is getting dramatic again! Both AC Milan and Napoli hesitated, giving a chance to the encroaching Inter Milan.

This weekend, Serie A once again offered some very interesting matches. The leader AC Milan only drew with Torino. Second-placed Naples even lost at home to a troublesome Fiorentina.

On the other hand, defending champion Inter Milan improved. The latter beat Hellas Verona, the team for which Czech international Antonín Barák plays, at home.

Inter have been in poor form in recent weeks, which resulted in them squandering their comfortable lead.

Now, however, Inter Milan are back within striking distance, and if they win the playoffs, they may even move to the top of the league table.

Thus, a title defence is still quite realistic for Inter. Its opponents do not have the biggest stars, and they often present somewhat erratic performances,

There are still six rounds left in the season. However, it’s quite likely that it could be decided in the last round of the league.

In the past seasons we have witnessed a rather uninteresting title fight. Juventus’ nine-year hegemony was only broken by the man who started it – Antonio Conte.
