Slavia advanced to the group stage of the Conference Europa League after a match that was really exciting until the last minute. The game went into extra time, with Ivan Schranz scoring at the end. How did the Slavs enjoy the thanksgiving?
Slavia lost the first game 1:2 and needed to win by two goals at home. This time Ivi López wasted his chances, which made the hopes of promotion still realistic.
Moses Usor scored in the second half and it went to extra time. In the second half, Ivan Schranz’s header decided Slavia’s progress.
The whole stadium was in euphoria and opinions abounded that the experience was comparable to the one when they advanced with a goal in extra time against Sevilla.
It was so clear that the thanksgiving was going to be a big one. After the match, the players moved to the Tribuna Sever and celebrated with the fans with shouts of celebration.
You can watch them in the attached video posted by the club itself on its social networks. Unbelievable euphoria, fans and players alike exude sheer joy!
The fans of Slavia will definitely not fall asleep early today, they will remember this moment perhaps for the rest of their lives. Fans of Slovácko may be in a similar mood, as this Moravian team will play in the group stage of the European Cups for the first time in history.
