Earlier speculations have now been confirmed! Pavel Nedved is officially out at Juventus Turin, with all members of the club’s board of directors resigning on Monday. The reason is the confusion about the club’s accounts.
Already a year ago, Juventus’ accounting problem was addressed. Italian police accused Nedved and his colleagues of falsifying documents over three years.
There were six suspects in total, they were Andrea Agnelli, vice-president Pavel Nedved, Fabio Paratici, Stefano Cerrato, Stefano Bertola and Marco Reho.
However, they were acquitted in April and continued with the club. However, since the beginning of October, further investigations have been underway. This time it was to do with commissions.
All members of the club’s board decided to resign, including former Czech international and club president Agnelli.
Another relatively well-known name is the CEO Maurizio Arrivabene. The club must now look for new management, which will be known in a few months.
The club certainly does not have an easy task ahead of it, after all it was all about capacity in its field. Agnelli, for example, had been at Juventus for twelve years.
Under his leadership, the Old Lady won nine championships in a row, which went down in the record books.
However, another record was set by Juventus for the 2021/22 season, a loss of over 6 billion crowns.
