There were several pieces of information and they kept changing. But now everything is official, Sergio Ramos will leave Real Madrid after 16 years.
He arrived in the Spanish capital as a youngster from Sevilla before the 2005/06 season. He immediately worked his way into the starting line-up, from which he never dropped out, and later became captain.

Few have been as much of a Madrid heartthrob as El Churu. He really wanted to end his career at the Santiago Bernabéu, but circumstances didn’t favour him. After 16 years, he is leaving his beloved club and will say goodbye to Madrid on Thursday at a press conference, Real Madrid officially announced.
And where will he go next? As a free agent, he has several offers to choose from. There has been much speculation about the interest of PSG or Manchester City, while Juventus are also keen to acquire experienced free agents.
The possibility of going to the USA is not excluded, where he is very attracted to Inter Miami by his great friend David Beckham. Another possibility is a return to his native Sevilla, who have offered Ramos a five-year contract.
