The Czechs in KSW were not happy about their victory! Brož won a draw, Šormová left defeated
Two representatives of the Czech Republic showed up at KSW 65, but the tournament did not go very well, as neither of the fighters scored a victory. Miroslav Brož scored his first draw in his career, while Magdaléna Šormová left defeated.
Two representatives of the Czech Republic showed up at KSW 65, but the tournament didn’t go too well, as neither fighter scored a victory. Miroslav Brož scored his first draw in his career, while Magdaléna Šormová left defeated.
Miroslav Broz fulfilled his dream and proved himself in the Polish organization KSW. His opponent was Adam Niedzwiedz, with whom the match was so evenly matched that it ended in a rarely seen draw.
“This is an absolute dream come true for me, I’m going to fight at the Khalidov – Soldic gala. For me absolutely top, I’m really excited. I’ve always wanted KSW more than the UFC. It’s a good war for me,” said Broz after the fight.
Brož was originally scheduled to appear at Octagon 30, but he didn’t have a signed contract and ultimately decided to sign with the newly formed RFA, which will also allow him to fight in other organizations.
The other Czech representative at KSW 65 was Magdaléna Šormová, who, like Brož, made her debut in the Polish organization.
The representative of Reinders Gym gave her opponent Anita Bekus a leverage in the third round, but the thirty-one year old Pole did not give up and finally celebrated a 2:1 win on points.
Shorma failed to confirm her role as the favourite and thus scored her fourth career defeat. She also lost three times out of her last five matches, which is not a good sign.
