Big sensation. That’s exactly how the Czech fighter’s journey in the prestigious American organization can be described. However, both Martina Jindrová and the PFL organization remain somewhat in the shadows. Just like her, the better known Lucie Pudilova will fight in the UFC this weekend.
Jindrova will face a much tougher opponent. The PFL’s star Kayla Harrison. So far, she’s 14-0. She’s considered the best fighter outside the UFC.
“I’m gonna have the toughest fight of my career. Kayla has won the Olympics twice in judo, she’s been PFL champion twice and she hasn’t lost a fight in MMA. I want to be the first one to beat her. Who knocks her out. I’m looking forward to it, it’s a big challenge,” Jindrova said at the press conference.
According to her words, the Czech fighter is well prepared. Thanks to being the underdog, she doesn’t feel pressure and is as calm as possible. “I can only surprise,” she is clear.
She is especially confident in her attitude, her tactics are obvious. She must not allow her opponent to take the match to the ground. One of the men under whom Jindrová is training, Petr Knize, would like the Czech fighter to win the fight in the first round with a head kick.
Jindrova is now riding the wave of three straight wins. She reached the semifinals of the PFL. If she wins, she’ll fight for $1 million in the finals. But she’s not thinking too much about it yet.
The match will take place in London. So we can look forward to seeing the game at a good time. It should take place on Saturday around 10:00 p.m.
