Czech Ambassador Libor Sečka has written in bold letters in the path of Tomáš Souček and Vladimír Coufal. As an avid Kladivar fan, he connected Czech club football with English club football.
Czech Ambassador Libor Sečka has written in bold letters in the path of Tomáš Souček and Vladimír Coufal. As an avid Kladivar fan, he connected Czech club football with English club football. Now his mission is over, what else has he done and what are West Ham fans writing to him?
Why did he make a significant impact on the lives of the Czech national team? Back when he was still officially in office, he awarded both Soucek and Coufal significant medals. The former Slavs and current West Ham mainstays received silver medals from Seka for their huge contribution to the development of Czech-British sporting relations.

Just a few days after the award, Libor Sečka said goodbye to Great Britain and his beloved West Ham.
“The huge dilemma between staying or leaving is solved. Today, after 5 and a half years of my diplomatic mission in the UK, I say goodbye to London. My heart remains committed to the Hammers, it was a great time. Thank you,” he wrote on his Twitter and added a photo with the West Ham logo.
The West Ham fans said goodbye to the Czech ambassador and wished him luck. Some told him to send them Hložek or other Czech footballers.
Still, one comment stands out among the rest. “I knew about your tenure thanks to our players (Soucek and Coufal) and you were a really great ambassador. You supported our Czech boys and became part of our West Ham family. I’ve seen more Slavia games than any other European club, so I’d say job well done,” wrote one West Ham supporter in a touching tweet.
