Judges
The Commission also considered the appeal of referees Zdeněk Koval and Miloš Vitner. The Appeals Committee decided that these referees committed the disciplinary offence of bribery, for which it imposed a penalty of a ban on participation in all activities related to the activities of the FAČR for a period of 7 years and a fine of CZK 25,000.
The sentence of both referees was reduced by one year (originally 8 years), the financial penalty remained the same. Interestingly, Miloš Vitner is now the secretary of the Ústí nad Labem KFS.
In the case of Miroslav Svoboda, the delegate, and Milan Tandara, the team manager of Vyšehrad, the commission cancelled their sentences completely. The evidence was in a form that allowed doubts about guilt.
Jan Hořejší
On the appeal of Jan Hořejší, the court decided to adjourn the hearing of the case in order to supplement the evidence. Jan Hořejší, the secretary of the Steering Committee for Bohemia, was punished by the Ethics Committee with a fine of CZK 25,000 and a ban on any activity related to the FAČR for a period of 4 years.
According to the Ethics Commission, Jan Hořejší was involved in influencing three matches. The commission considers the most serious offence to have been committed on 6 June 2019, when it said he handed over a bribe of at least CZK 100,000 from former Vyšehrad sports director Roman Rogoz to referee Robert Hajek. Five days earlier, the head referee was supposed to have influenced a third league match at the field of Živanice, where the Prague club won 2-1.
In the same season, he was also involved in influencing a match between Štěchovice and Vyšehrad, which the visitors won 2:0 in May 2019. In the same season, he was also involved in influencing the match between Štěchovice and Vyšehrad, which the visitors won 2:0 in May 2019.
